Saturday - MTG Dark Ascension Launch Party
Come to the Magic Dark Ascension Launch Party and celebrate the release of the newest Magic: the Gathering set!
Each player drafts a 40 card deck from one Dark Ascension booster pack and two Innistrad booster packs. In addition to the booster packs, each player receives a promo card, a launch party flyer and an achievement card. The achievement card will provide tasks to complete throughout the event! At least three packs per player will be added to the prize pool.
Main event is swiss with a cut to top 8, or top 4 if less than 17 players. If there is a top 8, there will be another booster draft to determine the winner of the tournament!
Entry: $20
Sunday - Standard for Box(es) of Dark Ascension
Tournament format is Standard. Swiss rounds with a cut to top 8, or top 4 if less than 17 players.
Winner will walk away with a sealed booster box of Dark Ascension. Prize support is guaranteed regardless of attendance. An additional half booster box of Dark Ascension will be added to the prize pool for every four additional players.
Entry fee is $10.
